Why this workshop

Knowing you are under pressure is only the beginning.

You may recognise the pattern: rushing a decision, overexplaining, taking over, pleasing people or withdrawing from the conversation. Reset for Impact gives participants space to notice their own responses and explore alternatives.

The workshop connects psychological ideas with experience. Participants reflect on what happens for them, try accessible movement and guided breath practices, and consider how to use a pause in real working situations.

Regulation is not simply about being calm. The question is whether you have enough choice to respond in a way that serves the situation.

Inside the session

Pause. Reset. Respond.

01

Recognise the pattern

Notice your current state and reflect on how pressure shows up in your attention, communication and behaviour.

02

Experience a reset

Try movement and chair-based breath practices, with permission to adapt or sit out. Notice what changes and what does not.

03

Bring it back to work

Explore where a pause might change a conversation or decision, and identify a practical response to try afterwards.

Practical details

Accessible in an ordinary working day.

The core workshop runs for two hours and uses chairs, reflection, conversation and simple experiential exercises. No previous breathwork experience is needed.

The emphasis can be adapted to the audience and the pressures they face. Participation in practices is optional throughout.

The intention is for people to leave with a clearer understanding of their own patterns and a small set of responses they have already tried.
